noun: retrograde evolution: degeneration: a lowering of effective power, vitality, or essential quality to an enfeebled and worsened kind or state

With every election, the corporate party's great wall imprisoning the minds of Americans has gotten longer, taller, and stronger. The Republicans have provided the rigidly inflexible bricks, and the Democrats have provided the flexible mortar that has hardened itself tightly around those bricks, binding conservatives and liberals all together in solidarity as one immobile mass confined together within a virtual gulag.

On every even numbered year’s November, the corporate party’s conservative and liberal prisoners reliably join together to mindlessly obediently provide near unanimous popular vote mandates for the absolute exclusion of any and every good political alternative to the failed-state corporate neoliberal solutions that are dependent upon a constant growth of ever more ruthless labor exploitation; the conversion of natural persons into being merely product consumers; an incessant consolidation of wealth into fewer hands; an unsustainable insatiable extraction of natural resources; the careless privatization of everything that should be carefully held in common; and a permanent state of war over fast depleting energy resources... with no policies changing for good, while the accelerating adverse changes in our planet's climate favorable for human habitation are effectively being completely officially ignored.

After the Democrat Congress failed to provide anything worthy of praise, and Obama produced only policies worthy of condemnation, America's liberals are now confronted with the undeniable reality that near everything they’ve believed to be true was obviously false. Boomer liberals are now desperately seeking new labels to hide under, and any interpretations of history that might self-absolve themselves of their half-century of callous complicity in the highest crimes against humanity.

In a recent FiveBooks web interview, Columbia University professor of History, Eric Foner, discussed the relevance of reading five particular books to gain an understanding of the malapropism: “The Evolution of Liberalism.”

My response to Foner's interview:

Liberals can't understand the present because they are so establishment "educated" that no amount of history reading can make them educable. They desperately seek comforting answers from flattering misinterpretations of dead history, while relentlessly ignoring the lessons of the living history that they've been living in.

The Boomers of My Generation have been the primary popular political force for five decades now. That half-century has been dominated by a political struggle between the conservative and liberal factions of the corporate party. The liberals best offer was their dubious claim that voting for the corporate party's Democrats was choosing "the lesser of two evils." Liberals openly despised and electorally predated upon the good people who didn't wish to have an evil government.

However, the choice between Republicans and Democrats is not a choice between evils. Liberals have correctly ascertained that the people who support Republicans are abysmally ignorant and profoundly mentally deficient, therefore the corporate party's conservatives haven't the capacity to be evil. But it's quite clear that the corporate party's Democrat supporting highly educated, well read, well informed and all above average intelligence liberals are capable of evil, and they have perpetrated all manner of evil. The liberals’ Democrats have amply evidenced that they don't do the good they could when they can — not because nasty Republicans won't let them — but rather because Democrats clearly have no intention to do good when they can.

Over the past pivotal decade, in the beginning of the 21st Century, liberals successfully waged a ruthless "Wasted Vote" campaign of voter suppression, which convinced most well intentioned people that they could never get the good government they wanted if they actually voted for it; convinced people wanting a better world to either not vote, or to always vote against whatever good policies they said they wanted, like the "intelligent voter" liberals reliably do. The liberals’ persistent abuse of elections for a perverted political purpose (ever reliably (D) voting against what they said they were for, and for what they said they were against) has succeeded in making it impossible now for elections to serve any good purpose.

The struggle between Republicans and Democrats has been a struggle for the survival of empire. If the really retrograde Republicans would ever have full control, they'd promptly bring the whole empire down. It is the deeply depraved Democrats who have cleverly managed to bureaucratically maintain a permanent underclass pacified in a state of perpetual poverty; neutered and neutralized the unions that socialist organizations had built strong; provided routine financial market transfers of wealth turning the Middle Class into the Indentured Class; regulated environmentalists to protect ecological destruction; and efficiently automated robotic military atrocities... to make America's “best & brightest” fascism far more sustainable than the crude fascisms of history’s less “enlightened” militarist nations’ have been.

In his “Evolution of Liberalism“ interview, Foner never mentioned how the "lesser evil" Gore loving liberals' loyal support of Democrats has doomed future generations, by ensuring that the climate change that presents the greatest existential threat to humans and most other species has been ignored (become a non-issue)... with no timely nor serious Democrat response, other than (D) promotion of a financial market means to profit from pollution swaps, while the glaciers all melt; the permafrost becomes impermanent; and our human habitable planet becomes uninhabitable for humans.

Presently, the maniac liberals’ POTUS, Obama, is Goldman Sachs obediently feverishly seeking to raise America’s debt ceiling limit. Anyone who cares about their children’s financial future, or is actually opposed to America’s serial aggressor war invasions and occupations of other nations for control of fossil-fuel energy resources, wouldn’t want the debt limit increased. Increasing the debt limit will just allow America to keep borrowing money to do what it does with the money it borrows; wage more wars of aggression... malevolently manufacturing “terrorists” to produce a profitable target-rich environment for the remote control weaponry murder of poor people living over some richer remnants of natural resources.

Foner say's he can't define what a modern liberal is, but I can.

A liberal is a person who lives in a constant state of cognitive dissonance; a loyal degenerate Democrat voter, who thereby deviously gets what they actually wanted whenever we all get the shit that they said they didn't want.

The "progressives" are the liberals who vote for Democrats so they can keep protesting against what they keep voting for.
